Fry's grocery store has been my favorite place to shop for the nine years we have lived in Sahuarita.
However, I came within seconds of walking out the door leaving a cart full of groceries behind this morning. There were no lanes open with real live checkers and I refuse to scan my groceries looking at my own reflection on a screen. Finally, and I might add, reluctantly, a very nice lady checker agreed to "check me out."
I so appreciate relating to a live person at the check stand when I finish my shopping. Maybe these grocery stores could continue to respect their elders by keeping the old-fashioned check out lanes open for a few more years. At least until we have all gone on to our Heavenly Homes.
