A Sahuarita resident landed in jail Monday after a neighbor called police to complain his driveway was blocked by a jackknifed vehicle.
Sahuarita Police Sgt. Michael Falquez said a resident in the 600 block of West Calle Cajeta called police around 10:30 a.m. to say a neighbor’s truck and trailer had been preventing him from leaving his home for around three hours.
The arriving officer found the neighbor, Jeremy San Julian, 40, passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle, which was in drive with the key in the “on” position but was not running, Falquez said.
The officer observed signs of impairment and during a subsequent search found two baggies with oxycodone inside and 0.2 grams of cocaine, the sergeant said.
San Julian was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center on suspicion of possession of a dangerous drug, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI.
