More than 100 bicyclists participated in the 14th Annual Santa Cruz Valley Area Ride of Silence May 15. The silent procession honors cyclists who have been killed or injured on public roadways. The ride was created in Dallas in 2003 and has spread to 400 sites in 47 states and 20 countries. This year's ride honored Mason Taylor, a 15-year-old Madera Highlands resident who was fatally injured while riding his bike July 3, 2018.
